Refund Policy

1. See it before you pay

For prospective clients, we build a free, no-obligation preview of your website. You owe nothing until you review it and decide to move forward by signing our Web Services Retainer Agreement. This is your opportunity to evaluate our work at no cost and no risk.

2. Fees are non-refundable

Once you become a client, all fees paid are non-refundable. This includes any one-time setup fee, your first month, and every recurring monthly fee. We do not issue refunds for partial months, unused time, work in progress, or any period during which service was suspended due to non-payment or a breach of your agreement. Setup and first-month fees are non-refundable whether or not the finished website is launched.

3. Month-to-month billing and cancellation

Service is governed by your signed Web Services Retainer Agreement and billed month-to-month, with no long-term commitment. You may cancel by giving us thirty (30) days' written notice by email. You remain responsible for the fees that accrue during that notice period, and we do not prorate or refund a partial month. After cancellation in good standing, and once your account is paid in full, we will provide your website files and transfer your domain as described in your agreement.

4. Recurring billing

By starting service, you authorize Sownley Business Solutions LLC to charge your selected payment method automatically each month through PayPal until you cancel. The monthly amount and billing date are set in your signed agreement, and the charge recurs without further notice until you cancel in writing.

5. Failed payments and suspension

If a monthly payment fails, we will notify you by email. If full payment is not received within 72 hours of the original due date, we may suspend your website and related services without further notice. Service is restored promptly once all outstanding amounts, plus any applicable reinstatement fee, are paid.

6. Chargebacks

Because our services are delivered and our fees are non-refundable, filing a chargeback or payment dispute for fees that were properly billed is a breach of your agreement. We keep clear records of services rendered and authorizations given, and we reserve the right to contest any improper chargeback and to suspend or terminate service while a dispute is open.

7. Questions

If anything about billing is unclear, contact us before you sign. Email support@sownley.com and we will walk you through it. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
